Similar to a Chinese cleaver, this chef's knife is a versatile kitchen companion. The tall blade provides high knuckle clearance while the under swept edge and comfy handle reduces user fatigue.
Great for slicing, chopping, mincing, etc. plus it makes a good bench scraper.
Hand forged from old spring steel, this blade is not stainless steel (check out my care and maintenance page for more info).
Handle is made from stabilized Black Walnut with a bolster made of recast brass scrap (mostly the foot petals of an old piano I helped smash to bits).
