This full tang, 8.5 inch Chef's Knife is made of spring steel from a truck's old suspension. The handle is reclaimed Ipe wood with a bolster from melted brass scrap (including bits of brazing rod, bullet casings and a door knob).

Thickest point: 5/64 inches (that's pretty thin, if you were having trouble imagining it)

This 7 inch, full tang, Chef's Cleaver is forged from the leaf spring of a truck's old suspension. Its handle scales are from reclaimed Ipe wood, with mild steel rivets.
